Manos Home Care has been providing in-home services for adults and children with developmental disabilities throughout the East Bay in cities such as Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, Antioch, Walnut Creek, Livermore, Hayward, Union City and Fremont since 1989. Manos serves clients of the Regional Center of the East Bay in the Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
We need respite, day care, independent living instructors, and personal assistance Direct Support Providers who are able to care for children and adults with special needs. Many of our clients are diagnosed with intellectual or developmental disabilities such as Autism, Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and/or developmental delay.
Our Direct Service Providers (DSPs) primary job is to provide care in the client’s home and the surrounding community. This may include and is not limited to the following activities: bathing, light meal preparation, toileting, assisting with behavior programs, assisting with homework and language programs, and taking walks – as well as any other means of interacting with the client, such as playing board games, reading to each other, or simply conversing. Our DSPs are also responsible for cleaning up after activities or assisting the child/children or adult in the cleanup.
Our Independent Living Skills Instructors (ILS Instructors) work with clients to fulfill their goals and dreams of becoming independent. Following a client directed goal plan, ILS Instructors help clients learn to ride the bus, go shopping, manage their money, apply for jobs, find housing, and much more.

• 18 years of age
• CPR certified or able to obtain within 60 days of the first assignment

Position: Staff Accountant
Responsibilities: Prepare monthly journal entries, assist with close and analyze company financial statements, invoices, and other financial documentation to gauge financial health of Manos. Assist in annual GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), ESOP (Employee Ownership Stock Program), and bank audits. Complete annual ESOP accounting: Census preparation, valuation, allocations, distributions. Prepare weekly payroll, perform payroll reconciliations. Prepare quarterly and annual tax returns: Forms 941, DE9, DE9C, 940, W2, 1095C, 1099MIC, 1099NEC. Use assessment to design and develop sophisticated solutions to ensure improved efficiency. Provide financial information to management to ensure informed decision making.
Educ./experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field, plus two (2) years post-baccalaureate experience as Revenue and Growth Management Analyst, Business Performance Manager, or related role. Experience must include SAP/ERP, revenue growth analysis, business performance management system monitoring and development, strategy alignment, and payroll reconciliations.
