Everyone needs a break sometimes. Respite Care allows parents and caretakers to take a break so they can continue to provide the best care for their loved one with developmental disabilities and keep them in the home.

The Respite Care program is designed to help keep individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes by providing the caretakers with flexible breaks to be used when they need them. During the respite, a background checked, CPR certified, and the insured caretaker will come to your home to relieve you and take care of your loved one. Many parents and guardians use this time to run errands, get exercise, go on a date night, or even just take a nap. While you are away, care providers take care of all of the needs of your loved one including cooking, cleaning, transportation, help with homework, and other engaging activities. Hours are flexible, and there for you to use when you need them. Manos is on call 24/7 in case any issues arise and can provide replacement and emergency care providers when needed and available.
